Early rock 'n' roll recording artist Jimmy Rogers passed away in 2021 largely unnoticed. Although not strictly a Rock 'n' Roll artist as he also recorded ballads, he left us a few tracks that are great for dancing.

His original hit 'Honeycomb' released in 1957 has a fast rockabilly beat. A later chart success 'Oh Oh, I'm Falling In Love Again' has a slower medium pace beat. Both of these have the bright atmosphere and smooth-flowing lyrics that excite dancers into action. They also suit swing dance styles.

His other hits such as Bimbombey, Kisses Sweeter Than Wine and English Country Garden were very popular when baby boomers were very young.

We thank Jimmy for his excellent catalogue of records that entertained us in the 1950's and 1960's.
