Rock n Roll dance teacher (Gareth) will give run a brief workshop for those who want to really get into the feel and the swing of a 1950s Rock n Roll dance night. Younger people will relive the experiences of their grandparents, perhaps even grandparents.

Andy and the Cruisers is a Show band voted THE BEST ROCK 'n ' ROLL BAND OVERALL in Sydney Australia 2001 (at the Australian R&R Revival R&R Awards Night) also presented the HIGHEST ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 2000 & 2001 at the Sydney's Live Entertainment Awards.

DJ The Killer Glen Hunt has been part of the Jive A Boogie DJ Service Team and Sydney’s Live Rock n Roll Entertainment Agency Since 1996. The Killer was trained by Legendry DJ Compare George Houndog Galea owner of Jive A Boogie DJ Service and Licensed Agent Manager of Sydney’s Live Rock n Roll Entertainment Agency.

Formed in late 2010, The Rockin Eddie Band, or T.R.E.B for short first appeared at the Biggest Indoor Rock n Roll event in September 2010. T.R.E.B's aim is to accommodate all forms of 40s, 50s, and 60s classic dance steps.

What started as a predominantly swing band doing Sinatra, Crosby, Martin and Prima standard tunes or the more contemporary Neo Swing, such as Royal Crown Review, they were quick to expand their repertoire with strains of jazz, roots rock n' roll and rockabilly. Their wide appeal is evident and can have all ages and any joint jumping.

If you want a track with a good medium-fast rock n roll beat that captures the atmosphere of the early 1960s, you can't go wrong with Just Like Eddie. Heinz Burt was the bass player for the ill-fated band The Tornados.

It's hard to look past Summertime Blues when you're compiling a list of really great rock n roll dance tracks. Medium-fast pace, very strong beat and a tone that perfectly suits exciting dance - how can you go wrong.

The Lincolns have only been rocking Adelaide with their unique style of 50's Teddy Boy Rock n Roll since early 2011, but don't let that fool you. The band is full of seasoned musicians with a passion for rock n roll that goes well beyond the bands inception.

Not a bad tune to rock to. Sunday Girl was recorded by Blondie in the late 1970s, so it has a more modern disco sound, yet the beat is unmistakably rock n roll. With a medium-fast tempo, it's a great boogie tune, though not one that's often chosen for rock n roll dance sets.

Okay, we're here to Rock n Roll Dance, not to pack up the family wagon complete with dead auntie on the roof and head down the Holiday Road with the Griswalds. Lindsey Buckingham's hit song from National Lampoon's Vacation movie can certainly help us with that, but only if you're ready for a fast one!

Getback are an authentic 1950' & 1960's Rock n Roll band dance based in Adelaide, South Australia. They play a wide selection of danceable songs and are very popular among Rock n Rollers in South Australia. The band are often featured at venues that cater for the 'dancing crowd'.

If you can't dance to this tune, you should maybe consider a different hobby. Walk, Don't Run ought to be renamed Dance, Don't Sit!
